What’s happening at Cumbernauld Trinity?

Easter Egg Hunt
We are organising an Easter Egg Hunt together with some craft activities for the children on Saturday 4th April at 10.30am.
Kerry and Peter have kindly offered us part of the Manse garden for this event, so we hope that it will be sunny and dry. Please bring an apron for crafts and, if you have any bunny ears to wear, these will brighten up our morning. Hope to see you there!

Easter Day Worship
A short service will be held at 8.30am on Easter morning (Sunday 5th April) at the site of the former St Mungo’s Church. All are welcome.

Our Morning Worship for Easter Day continues in the Village church at 11.00am, and Cafe Church will be at 2.30pm in Freedom City Church. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated at our Easter Cafe Church.

Vestry Time
The minister will be available every Wednesday from 10.00am until 12 noon in the Session House at the Village church (unless otherwise intimated). Everyone is welcome to pop in to speak to him or just to say hello.

Care for a Cuppa
Everyone is welcome at Care for a Cuppa every Thursday from 10.30 - 12.30 in the Session House at Cumbernauld Trinity in the Village.

For those in need, food bags will still be available as before, but we hope some visitors will feel able to simply join us for a cuppa and a chat.

Time for Prayer

If you have a desire to pray more for our church, our community, and the world, you are warmly invited to stay behind for a short time after the morning service on Sunday 12th April. We will simply gather together to talk about the possibility of starting a regular prayer meeting and to explore how we might encourage one another in prayer.

Strathcarron Hospice fund-raiser

Strathcarron Hospice is celebrating 45 years at the heart of the community this April. Their services depend greatly on donations and to that end on Sunday 19th April we’re planning to have a small fundraiser with all proceeds going to the Hospice - a sale of cakes / sweets, marmalade / chutney etc. If you can support this worthy cause, it would be greatly appreciated and will benefit many for whom Strathcarron provide care.

Ladies’ Circle

Cumbernauld Trinity Church Ladies’ Circle will commence this year’s session on Monday 27th April. The meetings will take place every second Monday from April to September at Muirfield Community Centre, starting at 7pm. The programme this year has visiting speakers, musical nights, charity talks, home nights, outings and a regular supply of tea, coffee, cakes, and fellowship. The session will end in September with a closing dinner. All are welcome to come along and enjoy good company.

The following events are planned for April and May 2026 –
Monday April 27th: Musical evening in the company of Siobhan Argyle;
Monday May 11th: Talk by Dr Francis (Frank) Dunn, Heart Surgeon;
Monday May 25th: Musical evening in the company of the Harmony Ladies.
