Letter from Mamelodi East

Cumbernauld Trinity was delighted to receive a letter recently from Peter Masilela, Session Clerk of Mamelodi East congregation of the Uniting Presbyterian Church of Southern Africa (UPCSA) thanking us for the donations made through our Mission Circle and for ‘being part of our cause’. Our generosity, he continues, ‘inspires us every day.’

Our ‘big red bucket’ appears in the vestibule of the Village church on the first Sunday of every month for people to ‘pop in a pound for South Africa’ if they wish and are able to do so. The money donated is then sent to our Mission Partners, Graham and Sandra Duncan, in SA and forwarded to the Mamelodi East congregation.

It is humbling to know that we are ‘choosing to make a difference’ and that our support is appreciated.
