Rev James Gemmell

Cumbernauld Trinity Parish Church is pleased to announce that, following a vote by the congregation at the end of morning worship on Sunday 31st August, the Reverend James Gemmell was elected as the first minister of the new charge.

A date for James's induction will be set by the Presbytery of Glasgow and we'll let you know the details once they have been decided.

Meanwhile, the next step in the process is to formally invite James to be our new minister by means of a ‘Call.’ This is a document which we invite members and adherents to sign,

The Call has now been prepared and will be available for signing each day in the Village Church from Sunday 7th September until Sunday 14th September, between the hours of 11.00am - 1pm each day.

During these times any person whose name is on the Electoral Register of the congregation may sign the Call, in person or by means of a mandate. If a mandate is to be used, the relevant form may be obtained from the Session Clerk.

A paper of Concurrence will also be available for signature by any person who is connected with the congregation, but whose name is not on the Electoral Register of the congregation. Children are also welcome to add their names to this paper.
