Worship at Cumbernauld Trinity
Morning worship on Sunday 21st September will take place at 11.00am in the Village church and will be led this week by Ivar Struthers. All are welcome.
Cafe Church on Sunday 21st September will be held at 2.30pm in Freedom City Church, St Mungo’s Road, with tea and coffee available from 2.00pm onwards. We welcome back Kathryn and Susan to lead this week’s service.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Jamie, Nikita and everyone at Freedom City Church for their kindness and offers of help.
Village Food Bank
The Village Food Bank is open every Thursday from 10.30 - 12.30 in the Session House at Cumbernauld Trinity in the Village. You can help by remembering the food bank in your prayers, by volunteering or by leaving donated items in the box in the church vestibule on Sunday mornings.
Fairtrade Fortnight
Monday 22nd September marks the start of Fairtrade Fortnight, which runs until Sunday 5th October. Our monthly Fairtrade stall will resume after morning worship on Sunday 28th September after its summer break, and there will be a Fairtrade feature at our Cafe Church, also on Sunday 28th September.
Harvest Thanksgiving
We will celebrate Harvest at our worship services on Sunday 5th October and invite those attending to bring a gift for the harvest table - donations of dried and tinned goods will be much appreciated, and these will be distributed to Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone Church after the Sunday services.
Some Thank-You’s
Thank you to everyone who 'popped in a pound' on Sunday 7th September to support the work of our Mission Partners in South Africa. Donations in the Big Red Bucket came to £115, which is the highest amount ever (so far!) Thank You all so much. The money has been transferred to Sandra and used to help buy food items for the community in Mamelodi.
The retiring offering at our Communion service on Sunday 7th September raised around £45 for the work of Glasgow City Mission, so thank you to everyone who donated.
