Worship at Cumbernauld Trinity
Morning worship on Sunday 28th September will take place at 11.00am in the Village church and will be led this week by Rev Wilma Pearson. All are welcome.
This Sunday also marks the return of our monthly Fairtrade stall, so we invite everyone to stay behind for a coffee and a blether, and a wee browse of the Fairtrade goodies we have on offer.
Cafe Church on Sunday 28th September will be held at 2.30pm in Freedom City Church, St Mungo’s Road, with tea and coffee available from 2.00pm onwards. This week will have a Fairtrade theme and our worship will be led by Ivar Struthers.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Jamie, Nikita and everyone at Freedom City Church for their kindness and offers of help.
Village Food Bank
The Village Food Bank is open every Thursday from 10.30 - 12.30 in the Session House at Cumbernauld Trinity in the Village. You can help by remembering the food bank in your prayers, by volunteering or by leaving donated items in the box in the church vestibule on Sunday mornings.
Fairtrade Fortnight
Monday 22nd September marked the start of Fairtrade Fortnight, and this runs until Sunday 5th October. Our monthly Fairtrade stall is back after the summer break and resumes on Sunday 28th September, and will also feature at our Cafe Church on Sunday 28th September.
Harvest Thanksgiving
We will celebrate Harvest at our worship services on Sunday 5th October and invite those attending to bring a gift for the harvest table - donations of dried and tinned goods will be much appreciated, and these will be distributed to Bethlehem House of Bread at Cornerstone Church after the Sunday services.
