Christian Aid Week 2026

Christian Aid Week 2026 runs from Sunday 10th to Saturday 16th May.

This CA Week our support will help mothers in Nairobi, Kenya, facing the devastating reality of urban poverty and the daily struggle to feed their children. By funding urban farming projects alongside specialist training from partner organisation Beacon of Hope, we can help parents fight food insecurity, grow fresh vegetables in small city spaces and earn an income to support their families.

You can pick up a red donation envelope at church (either morning or afternoon services) and return it next Sunday. We are suggesting you take two - one for you and one for a friend or family member who you think would be supportive of this wonderful charity, and please, if you are a tax-payer, complete the Gift Aid slip as that will increase the amount you give at no extra cost to you.

We are also offering a Christian Aid quiz sheet - please pick one up at church on Sunday for a suggested donation of £1. There are also puzzle sheets for children - please take one to pass on - and there is a ‘How many words can you make’ sheet too. This is primarily for school age young people, but anyone can join in.

A new venture this year is the Cumbernauld Trinity Christian Aid Walk. This will take place on Saturday 30th May when we'll leave from the site of St Mungo’s and will walk down to the Village. More information about that to follow.

Thank you in advance for your support of this most worthwhile cause and making a difference to the world's poorest communities
