Harvest Thanks

We heard in the sermon on Harvest Sunday that every act of kindness, sharing or welcoming sows the seed of God’s love. Our Lord encourages us to look up from our own needs and interests in order to serve others. We know that doing God’s will by loving others isn’t just a good thing to do - it’s essential for our own spiritual growth. What a privilege we have in showing how our faith guides us to those we encounter.

Heartfelt thanks from all at the Village & Bethlehem House of Bread Food Banks for the many many kind donations received from Cumbernauld Trinity Parish Church on Harvest Sunday. Such generosity is greatly appreciated.

Our church family’s response to the Harvest Appeal, and indeed throughout the year, reflects the character of God on this day and every day.
