Next Sunday’s Worship
The annual Service of Remembrance will take place at the Village War Memorial, Baronhill, on Sunday 8th November at 10.45am, with morning worship at the Village church following at 11.15am (approx.)
Cafe Church will take place as usual at 2.30pm at Freedom City Church, St Mungo's Road. All three services will be led by Rev James Gemmell.
Vestry Time
Rev James Gemmell is available in the Session House every Wednesday from 10.00am until 12 noon for Vestry Time, an opportunity for anyone who wishes to speak with the minister.
Care for a Cuppa
Everyone is welcome at Care for a Cuppa every Thursday from 10.30 - 12.30 in the Session House at Cumbernauld Trinity in the Village.
For those in need, food bags will still be available as before, but we hope some visitors will feel able to simply join us for a cuppa and a chat.
Pastoral Care
Our Pastoral Care group is now up and running, so if anyone wants a visit or hasn’t seen a member of our congregation in a while, please speak to the Pastoral Care group for follow-up. The group members are Janice Gordon, Jennifer Mearns, Nan McCabe, Annette Campbell, Christine Johnstone, Liz Dalling, Sandra Graham, and James Gemmell. The pastoral care group will work alongside the Elders districts, which will be phased out over time.
Book Club
The next meeting of the book club takes place on Tuesday 3rd November at 2pm in the Village church. New members very welcome.
Christmas Fair
Join us for our Christmas Fayre on Saturday 28th November, from 10.00am to 1.00pm in the Coffee House at Freedom City Church. There will be teas and coffees, home baking, Fairtrade stall, and a selection of gifts and crafts.
Although our fair will be on a smaller scale this year, as we no longer have our church halls, it will still be a lovely opportunity to enjoy some Christmas shopping, have a chat and spend time together. Tickets will be available soon. If you would like to help with setting up or lend a hand on the day, we would love to hear from you. All offers of help are very welcome!
